Oil on Canvas
18"x24"
Ok, a *LONG* time back I had dreams of doing a waterlily/lotus collection. That goal had almost vanished into the depths of the sea (owing to laziness and well.. all the 100 other excuses same as for not blogging for a long time) Well, I am considering completing that with a few paintings on the same topic plus maybe some macros of flowers that I have been wanting to paint for a while. (The botanical gardens here are a PARADISE for flower and plant enthusiasts) After the series of paintings gets completed, I will start my hunt/struggle for the right avenue to try and exhibit. What say?
Anyways, here is the latest - a group of young Nymphea leaves by a pond. Considering adding a few dragonflies at a later stage, maybe - maybe not.

Another gorgeous painting with lovely colors. Most of your paintings have that photo like quality i.e. the realism in the painting is awesome!
