Emerald- Oil on Canvas, Naturescapes from Kerala
Jay and me both love green. Without her i wouldnt have discovered what i *can* paint. She paints beautifully too and came out with the idea of painting and exhibiting our naturescapes. So Emerald happened, at the Lalit Kala Academy Hall.(Thanks Jay) The three days were nice.. people were touched by the paintings, they felt exuded loneliness of Nature. We felt happy that they too saw what we saw. More than anything, they started seeing more after the exhibition and told us that they had acquired a new eye- a green eye. These are my favourites from the collection.

hey Sree... now am getting inspired to try some paintings like these too... I have never really tried my hand with landscape paintings. Tell me.. how do you work with these paintings?? Photographs, live or memory ??!!
